In general, vtubers fit on a seven step scale which portrays how parasocial they are. Let's say it's a scale going from 1 to 7 from the least parasocial talents to the most:
>1 (lowest outlier)
Their social media presence might as well not exist, doesn't read feedback (live or on a VOD, doesn't matter) at all, all they expect from their audience is unquestionable praise and support. I'm not even sure if a talent like this exists at all, but the scale has to start somewhere.
>2
Strictly business: social media posts are informative or promotional in nature, very clear that they are not looking to make friends with the audience and will scold those who step over the line, but still aim to be pleasant to watch and react to. Will read constructive feedback and answer in kind, but don't expect much presence overall.
>3
Generally friendly and keeps up with niceties (they will read the LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOO-type SCs at the very least, even if they don't give comfort to the donator), but they will mostly stick to their kayfabe and keep an arm's length to their audience. On their social media they occasionally share some fanart or small offstream stories that don't hurt the setting.
>4
Completely average, retweets fanarts quite often, they often look for live reactions and sometimes even continue from there, occasionally break character for a story, leaves the rare social media reply to a post or two.
>5
Likes the attention and they start to look for content which pleases the audience. Very friendly, occasionally playing into fantasies of some viewers and doesn't mind to be seen as an object of affection, even if they don't necessarily reciprocate. Frequent updates on social media, often without regard to their settings and will give extra attention to certain audience members.
>6
The interactions with the audience fuels them, very eager to please viewers who are no longer a mass of people but individual fans. Almost terminally online, egosearching and conversing with everyone who likes them. Often they express affection towards their audience beyond friendship and encourages the audience members to think of them as their significant other.
>7 (highest outlier)
The final level, what's classified as menhera. Internet fame has completely consumed their mind, will do anything that's asked of them and often they'll even do what is not desired if it brings the limelight to them. Acts up if anyone dares to ignore them, but even enjoys being hated if it means more eyes on them. The character might as well not exist as the talent takes over completely the setting, will meet anyone offline and publicly enters into relationships with those who tolerate her, bringing them into the setting as well.
