1.Released at a point when her CCV was the highest
2.It was her debut song, so many people were looking forward to see what kind of music she was going to release
3.The beat itself is simple but quite good (listen to the instrumental)
4.It's like a character song that fits her shinigami branding perfectly. Yes, the lyrics aren't exactly a masterpiece, but I don't think I've heard a single character song from anime that could be considered a high quality piece of song writing. Heck, many holos pump out cringe songs about being cute/pon/shy/<anything generic> all the time
Mori was my least favorite Myth right form the start, but I still listened to RIP many times because it's just one of those songs that you can listen without paying any attention to the lyrics. However, I'm ESL, so I wouldn't be surprised if native speakers don't feel the same.
