One instance was her collab with Selen. Her and Mumei were basically duo'ing the entire time leaving Ame in the background. Every interaction they had with Ame was out of pity and gave off a "oh yeah, you're here too" vibe.

Back when Ame was still playing Minecraft, she got a fair bit of social interaction. She knew what she was doing and could direct people well (see the impromptu EN portal stream) or when Ashe was teaching Kiara how to play shooters. When she's out of her comfort zone is when she shuts down.

Gura is like that because she doesn't care and Ina is like that because she's quiet, but when either of them talk (and if it's heard) they light up the whole room; unlike Ame.

She has no problem expressing herself with different kinds of kayfabe on her solo streams but when she is with anybody else she just sits there quietly.
Like even in the earlier gura minecraft streams you can tell how gura is scrambling to find any topic to talk to her because her responses are usually "oh i see" "uhm i dunno"

This was always Ame's biggest weakness. I remember back during her first birthday stream, she did a call-in portion, but never actually told anybody about it, so only Gura and Ina called in, and then chat bullied Reine into calling in too even though they had never interacted in any way beforehand. That was it, the rest of it was Ame sitting around in silence and talking about how it reminds her of her birthdays when she was a kid, because nobody showed up to those either. She just expects everybody to do all the work when it comes to social interaction and doesn't do anything to make it happen herself.

It might be multiple factors like personality and circumstances: Amelia gets quiet when there is more than three people even in Myth collabs. She's an introvert like Gura and Ina but Gura has crazy charisma that she can tap into and Ina's whole idol personality is built on her being the soft spoken one whose unspoken actions can speak for her. Ame doesn't have any of that and when she gets too quiet it can go against her holo character. Also being the one with more tech knowledge means Ame can end up out of frame fixing stuff instead of interacting.

Ame too doesn't have the language skills to connect with JP (Kiara, Ina) or reach out like Gura and maybe Mori does so that has an effect on her relationship with JP and ID. And her relationship with Gura might of helped in the past as Gura would always hang with her during larger crossover collabs pulling her along into whatever was going on. That change seems to be having an impact too.
