>>47316691It's really different from Arifureta. It's by the author of Kaguya-sama (love is war). The first volume, which was adapted to this first long episode (I downloaded it, but haven't watched it. But Ai dies by the end of v1) reads more or less like a mix between The Perfect Insider and Erased, while v2 onwards (which deal with Ai's children in high school) is closer in tone to Kaguya-sama, though it also deals a lot with entertainment industry stuff (some stuff we've seen in Cinderella Girls for example, and some other stuff we've also seen in more cynical shows like Girlish Number, GTO or, hell, Gokudolls. Everybody knows the dark side shit), while still retaining a bit of a mystery plot heavily driven by revenge.
It's not a bad manga, but it definitely is against idol culture and the entertainment industry. and it's fine if whores don't want to be idols - just don't join an idol company like Hololive.
