It's an exercise in gamble to get a team ready for a tournament in 2-ish months. The best teams won't be the ones with the better players but the ones that can play each other the best, which is also true with actual big tournaments but it's way more obvious in these quick and casual ones. Even if they like each other and play everyday you can't compare pubs with a competitive environment, even if you manage to reach Pred or whatever is the highest rank in every single season.

While I hope they get another game the logistics of doing a tournament of something like Valorant or OW2 are way more complicated than Apex. Apex and BR in general have all the competitors playing matches that rarely go over 20 minutes. Now try to doing a Valorant tournament with a decent amount of players when every match only involves 2 teams and often goes beyond 20 minutes and you'll see why tournaments for these games are always week-long events.

I don't know if she reached pred as Botan but she did in her roommate account in the last season before her debut I believe. Also she probably got tired of playing it, and the game fucking sucks so I don't blame her.

It’s easy to hate APEX for a variety of reasons. It’s a slower and watered down Titanfall, it’s a Battle Royale which is slower and less interesting compared to Team Deathmatch in any other game, and it’s an esports title. Just that alone sucks the fun knowing that it’s comp first and casual fun second.

yes. in fact they did they exact thing TSB did this vsaikyou, pretty well in the scrims but choked hard in the main event. Hell they even almost got the exact same placement. Startend got 16th and TSB got 17th

APEX is more of a high IQ strategy game that is all about risk management with imperfect knowledge.
It's less about making snap decisions, and more about making the correct decisions five minutes ago with the information you were given.

Final ring brawls are not chaotic, they're just playing out what was supposed to happen long before the final ring begins closing.
If you don't believe me and still think there isn't a method to the madness, remember that the best ALGS teams can consistently place top 3 during playoffs.
