The only tournament I recall her joining as she is Hololive was the Battlefield tournament with Towa, but that was only because she was sponsored by EA at that time. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have joined if she wasn't being sponsored, because she performed poorly during that tournament.

Apex might be the single most spammed game by vtubers outside of Minecraft. They don't get crazy, they're just fucking tired of it and don't want more members to be dragged down the same hole.

Yeah I like to fantasize about Botan being unstoppable force in FPS but this anon here is right. And I think Botan realizes that too. There is so much hype about Botan now that she simply does not want to deal with the pressure of being put on the spot. She's playing FPS for fun now and is done with trying to be the best.

First step to become better at anything is to recognize what exactly you need to improve.
Record yourself playing a couple of rounds and then rewatch the footage. You know you're learning and becoming better when you rewatch the footage and cringe at seemingly obvious mistakes.

It also just plain gets harder as you get older. People in their teens and twenties have superior reaction time and dexterity. Botan's accomplishments are quality, but she's past the point where she could dominate hard without a lot of practice/training, and I want to breed her.

She plays battlefield and cawaduty just fine, even played in a tournament without going full retard with training.
Also Towa is having mental breakdown every time she loses, and I don't think Botan would want to deal with it during the tournament either.
