Basically she's what they intended for ID to be in the first place years back rather than their being a hybrid of ID-ENish because english-speaking interest was outweighing ID's. For whatever reasons, it didn't go that way for Kobo and she mostly maintained ID interest and filtered out EN by just not speaking it much. But the thing is I recall when ID first came out years ago, they in fact mostly spoke/streamed for ID, Moona used to hardly speak English at all and used to be far worse at it - it was attracting the attention of the EN crowd that actually got her to incline.
Why filtering EN worked so well for Kobo but only serves to handicap the rest of them until they speak English, I don't fucking know, but it is established fact basically. I think it was just right place/right time. Plus as far as I can understand (I don't speak their language) they say Kobo is very much a zoomer memer type to them, and incidentally a terminally online sassy loli type is literally what Gura is as well.
