Which was a real smart idea, just fucking brilliant nobel prize tier shit to do, when Lazusydia was built up entirely on trying to be a Holo-like. The later comers are trying to erase all this and pretend that wasn't the case but it very fucking distinctly was.
They all thought they didn't need to do that anymore thinking Luxiem was gonna make HoloEN irrelevant soon and vindicate all their SJW notions that anime/idols etc are all evil and they didn't have to pretend to care about Japan anymore etc. But nah, that flip-over point never came, and even though it was obvious to me that Luxiem growth actually never even come from the Western vtuber fandom they just clung to the new setup anyway.
I mean it's not like you can undo entrenching yourself leeching the dudes once you start, it's an image/perception thing, once it's tainted it won't really recover for years which in vtuber time is "basically forever." It takes effort and care to maintain a certain image of heavy but convincing/amusing kayfabe/purity etc. This, this fact, really really annoys all the girls who already fucked up irreversibly and wanna drag down the others with them, it's a crab bucket thing.
