>>47476498I'm sorry but it can't be anything but a casual tournament at that level, no matter how they train. People here don't seem to understand the skill ceiling of drop puzzle games because they look simple. It's as unforgiving as fighting games. This is not Mario Kart.
Everyone training for a tournament they were going to lose for sure because one of the participant is basically smurfing, isn't that exciting. The actual streams were fun though because it was done in a laid-back, casual way, and watching some girls learning from the ground up how to play something as "simple" as Tetris was interesting.
