Kawaii doesn't have an official discord but only a fancord that is overseen by management and the girls are not allowed to enter (maybe they get in with smurfs but who knows).

Nothing suspect was going on in that specific discord, it's a number of other fan discords that are indipendently created by "fans". Someone probably ratted out the whole doxxing circle to avoid legal trouble, or maybe it was a double agent, since they even got information that was not posted on the internet or other public spaces.

If you follow kawaii long enough, you'll know that Kawaii is just a passion projects for many of the gen 1/2 girls who just participate for personal enjoyment and wanting to participate to build up the brand. They were really proud getting the brand name to where it was at the point of gen 3 audition and debut and were happy many people were auditioning and wishing to join. However, there are still a couple of others on the discord who didn't get ban yet because the extend of their involvement isn't known for sure. Moreover, a couple of her content, even a song cover, was removed for now because it possibly used the art by one of the doxxer. It was a major hit within her own fanbase and I think she felt that she couldn't just quietly just remove them without going public about the reason.

It's sad because Kawaii is one of the few small corpo out there that is strict on regulating this shit. There's rule of no private contact between fan/chuuba. Interaction between fan/chuuba usually has to go through management indirectly or under supervision of management (such as during meet up events). It's one of the reason I support Kawaii. Yet, discord groomers dig for shit like dox instead. Some gen 3 discord groomers were probably happy about their graduation because they can now have much higher chance of private interaction with them following the reincarnation.

Aletta was friends with Peony before Kawaii, they played League together as their in game profile showed. Peony accidentally doxxed Aletta on one occasion because Aletta played league with her using her real life account and not the Vtuber account.
And Miryu and Oceane were friends before Kawaii too. The only "independent" one was Sava unless I'm not familiar with some info that connects her to others.

Kawaii invested a lot in auditioning and setting up gen 3. They didn't want to lose it and tried everything they can to keep gen 3 from leaving. There's no reason why they would fire gen 3 for the sake of it.
