>>47640355It's like when sitcoms use laugh tracks to make jokes seem funny when they otherwise wouldn't. Imagine that but across all emotions, not just laughing: that's react content. It's used to manipulate people's opinion on things by pressuring them into having the same emotion that the reactor is showing on screen. I don't like it when I see react content even when the uploader or streamer has the rights to the footage that their showing (e.g. Kids React) because it makes people hold very stupid and shallow opinions. However, the worst part about most reactors is that they don't even get permission to show the stuff that they're "reacting" to, even though they get all the benefit of it and the original creator doesn't get anything from it. It's like stealing soda, putting a sticker of your face on each can, and then reselling it.
