Altare is on break also if you watched streams (you obviously don't) you've heard where they all like FF14 but generally think it's a more bogged down and complex game so Classic WoW is easier.

WoW is just a much better game to stream than XIV. The only good parts of a XIV streamer's entire career are the impactful story moments that are all dozens of hours away from each other (end of expansion cutscenes mostly and some stand out primal fights)
Whereas you can almost entirely ignore WoW's story, and if you're streaming Classic the content becomes engaging as soon as you start leveling through contested territories

Wow is the game they can play with Vesper. FF14 is the one they can play with Altare. It's obvious that those two for whatever reason can't stand each other. Even in the left for dead collab the two barely talked to each other.

I believe Altare ratted Vesper out to management which caused his suspension, and then there was a big fight when Vesper found out about it.
