>>4777912>doesn't use any tool she has to its full potentialShe mentioned she has fucking trillian and omnisphere. Trillian's got damn near every bass sound you could need, besides all the experimental bass shit you'd hear in portland, and omnisphere covers every type of synthesis you would need, and it's got 15,000 presets.
This guy Sam Gellaitry made a whole album using ONLY omnisphere and trillian presets called Viewfinder, to give you an idea of what they sound like. Fucking hell, talk about not using tools to their full potential.
>basic dawOkay, Cubase is actually very good, not basic at all. Haven't used it but I'll list some of the features it has: spectral editor (looks similar to rx8), channel strips with analog modeling(all the brainworx and waves ssl stuff usually runs you ~$200 each), comping (ableton didn't even have this until a few months ago, and FL doesn't have it), some kinda melodyne-like editor for vocals, a score editor (like in logic), MPE, and a lot of chord editing tools. She doesn't need any of the izotope stuff. This really only further reinforces your point that she's literally incompetent.
If it's for a gig, a good producer who knows their tools can make a good track in a few hours if its sample based, a day or 2 if they have to write all the parts and do sound design from scratch. I've had a few friends make 7 or 8 ideas from scratch in like 8 hours, and they were all decent. She could stand to take some time to learn her tools, and do it on stream. And never mind the tools, she could stand to learn how to write good bars too.
>>4778616Fucking accurate, although personal projects like her eps will obviously take more time to finish
>>4778712she's definitely using the chord tools in cubase. they have a circle of fifths tool that lets you pick different triads. Goddamn I wish she would just stream making music in. that would be kino.
