Maybe it means that she's just a workaholic and taking a break is a chore for her, something she has to do, not wants. Or some other thing weighed on her mind and she had to take a break because of it, and for some reason that thing doesn't affect her anymore, which brightened up her mood. Maybe the health thing she was talking about.
