The stereotypical pick-me archetype is the type of vtuber who caters to an audience of 4channers, Blues News users, Southeast Asian Facebook users, Discord users, alternative Reddit users, and other denominations of social media where the dominant form of thought is one of extreme degeneracy used in specific circumstances seen as "normal". The pick-me vtuber is one known for catering to those, primarily men, who identify with many alternative series.
Many of these series include:
Warhammer 40K
>Deus Ex
X-Com UFO Defense
>Civilization
Metal Gear Series
>Pop Team Epic
Kamen Rider
>Super Sentai
Their community tends to cater/encourage a rather conservative mindset in regards to social issues related to (e.g. gender, racial/ethnic backgrounds). In terms of other interests the fans of these pick-me vtubers are involved with lolis, firearms, craft beers, etc.
A not insignificant amount of these vtubers tend to have forms of mental illness related to:

Schizotypal personality disorder

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
>Major Depressive Disorder
Bipolar Disorder

A large majority of their fans are also have these disorders as the vtuber community is an offshoot of both the Idol community and the Streaming community.
It's also important to be understand that not all pick-me vtubers are intentionally catering to their audience.
Some of them are truly happy and glad to be with their audience as their audience may help them gain a sense of community and friendship.
There are also the pick-me vtubers who cater to an audience of Tumblr users, mainstream Reddit users, Twitter users, Crystal Cafe users, LGBTQ+ audience.
However, I am unfamiliar with many of these vtubers. I could make broad observations of them as I have done before, but I would need to watch them. I do not have the time to watch them and require my attention to be focused towards General Chemistry and not trying to relapse on porn.
