>>47947397I think most fans don't really mind. The more parasocial ones prefer that she does not collab with males which is understandable. Really, its how you treat/respond to your fans when they are voicing their opinions about their dissatisfaction.
>MoriTried to own her parasocial fans
>AmeTold them to 'improve themselves'
>KroniiTold them that they are unreasonable and dismissed all opinions
Any of the above could have just said "I know some of you don't like the idea of these collabs. But I want to be able to support my fellow co-workers/collegues and not restrict my interactions and content direction. For those of you who still want to leave, I understand. I appreciate all the support that you have given me. We will always welcome you back with open arms if you decide to join the community again."
Literally, would have been a very professional and respectful send-off for your more parasocial fans. Instead, by voicing their immense dissatisfaction with the more parasocial fans, they pitted the regular and somewhat parasocial fans against the more parasocial fans. By dismissing some of their fan's feelings and opinions, it gave their fanbase the 'okay' to harass the more parasocial fans. It creates such a toxic environment in the community. Most fans come for a positive, enjoyable escapism experience, but with the toxic environment, it creates an uncomfortable tension in fan-to-fan and fan-to-talent interaction.
