People here talk about gachikois non-stop, whether it be criticism or defense. There is also this notion that it is important for vtubers to cater to them, or else their views and/or revenue will tank. However, I suspect their numbers probably aren't that big, or at least not as big as this board makes them seem. Here are the reasons why:
-Gachikois aren't talked about nearly as much on other websites
-Many gachikoi posters here probably aren't actually gachikois, and are just trolling and/or joking instead
-Some popular vtubers, like Suisei and Fubuki, explicitly discourage gachikoiism

As a bit of a caveat, while I think gachikois are a small minority, they probably spend a disproportionate amount of money on their favorite chuubas. So vtubers can't necessarily just ignore them.
