>>48074182>believable scenarioThat would require me to speculate ignorantly on things I don't know, but I'll try.
I will start by pointing out a few things in PC's statement. In the termination notice it said something about how both sides had failed to reach a mutual agreement after "several" "breaches" of contract. They acknowledge that Yuri was cooperative and went to "great lengths" to find a solution. I find all this interesting because it implies that what she was doing was not something they gave that much of a shit about if they were willing to come to some kind of agreement. In short, whatever it was was not really a crime or a terminating offense in and of itself. Like, with Rushia, Cover fired her for breaking their rules (or so they say), but here Yuri is doing something in the same vein (breach of contract) but wasn't immediately torched. So, either they really valued her going forward to the point where they were willing to let her actions slide, or her actions were miniscule and the company is making it sound worse than it really is.
So, what could it have been that was bad, a breach, but not something they were willing to jettison her for right away? Something they could negotiate with her over? Unfortunately, this is all we have to work with. So, I will guess as best I can:
1). She was making money somehow in a way that PC didn't get a cut.
2). She was doing something other than streaming which was viewed as detrimental to her growth / obligations. Possibly up to and including streaming under an alias.
3). She was participating in some kind of online discussion where non-critical information, but still company privy items, were being delivered to non company parties.
Just spitballing. I am pretty sure based on their statement she was not part of any type of illegal activity either for US or international law. I also don't think she was engaging in any kind of defamation against PC nor the other talents. I also don't think it was just a beef between talents, because why would they take sides and punish one of them? I also don't think she told the owner to "go fuck himself" or any other type of insubordination. It seems more like whatever she was up to that got her fired was "fixable".
That's how I see it anyway.
