In the case of a man killing his daughter's rapist, it's a justified retaliatory punishment kind of thing (and killing someone who causes harm is arguably less bad than rape) whereas Silvervale throwing IM under the bus is just her doing the exact same shit you claim IM did (assuming you interpret IM's statements about the HL situation as 'throwing Silver under the bus').
The only way you can compare this is by imagining that SIlver is throwing IM under the bus specifically as retaliation precisely for the HL situation - except for the fact that there is no fucking evidence of this at all, that's just speculation. You're just making shit up, you don't actually know that Silver is doing this in retaliation for the HL thing, you're just choosing to believe it because it makes you feel better about her because you already like her to begin with.
