What is even the appeal of being a Japanese person who can't speak English in Phase, you can't communicate with anyone else, your audience has no idea what you're saying, the company is Canadian so the staff isn't even Japanese either, and it's such a small company they've barely cracked 10k subs after two entire years. I know Tenma is Japanese too but she at least speaks English and has a substantially larger fanbase as a result.
The only thing that kind of has some semblance of logic is perhaps they hoped to pander to the same sort of retard who watches HoloJP despite not speaking Japanese, the "I don't know what she's saying but she makes cute noises so I like her more than EN!" type of person. But the results have shown there's clearly not a very big audience for that.
