also your rrat doesn't hold up, vg was planned from day 1, it didn't emerge from unicorn backlash. someone in hq (don't remember who, it was talked about when vg was revealed) talked about how hq was intended to be a 6 member gen but it was decided to be 4 instead. the remaining 2 were put into vg with 2 new faggots to make a second 4 member gen.
it was probably to test how successful gen 1 would be. once they saw gen 1 surpassed their expectations (vesper said management expected them to be 2views if i recall correctly) they released gen 2.
