>>48894139She's just covering her ass there to avoid getting sued for libel. This info did nothing but massively tank the perception/reputation of Niji, did she seriously think we'd read up on what went down and conclude "well that's neat, my opinions have not changed at all have a nice day"? No, she knew exactly what she was doing.
Also note nobody is really ragging on the talents here needlessly (maybe besides Kyo but that's because he threw his hat into the ring already) but rather how Zaion was managed and Niji's overall internal processes. Unless a corporation is your oshi, you shouldn't really feel that bad about rethinking things if you're shown a bunch of new info. If Hololive was revealed to punish someone for having a heart to heart with a manager who actually understands and can help and forced the talent to go to someone -who hadn't gotten his first paycheck yet- for advice about her status in the company, I'd think Hololive was fucking dogshit. Some people are amazed stealth suspensions/shadow bonks on talents are real but personally I had thought so for a long time already so that's just a "meh" thing for me, but it's probably a big deal to some who were more naive/stupidly trusting.
