>>48907108If studios want to have a semblance of player retention for their games they either invest in single player stuff that helps with the onboarding of casuals or go the f2p route with a good update schedule to keep these people interested. Unfortunately we're still getting glorified 60 dollar arcade ports that only appeal to fighting game players, and even if we're finally mostly over the rollback discussion we're now on the lobbies/infrastructure discussion with games being released with barely working matchmaking.
