One thing that is very apparent for Japanese viewers that aren't immediately noticeable to western viewers is her disappearance from the new year countdown event on the main channel. That just doesn't happen in the Japanese workplace, putting any other incidents aside.
It's clear to Japanese viewers there is a differentiation (discrimination in the EN word) between how Coco is treated to how others are treated (particularly those who've made similar Taiwan mistakes). What I guess people didn't realize was the extent of that. I didn't realize it but Coco wasn't my oshi so I didn't pay much attention to her that much other than through osmosis.

Ostracizing is how Japanese do things, they don't "force" people out. That's very direct way of dealing things. Like Narukami described, they neglect and ignore, sometimes limit (like no HoloEN and overseas collabs).
So when I'm off 4chan in like a week, the rrat shouldn't be that Coco is "forced out". That's mischaracterization. If Coco decides to stay there silently like an unmoving rock, she won't be "forced" to graduate, perhaps ever. Status quo will continue on normally with increasing neglect and I guess limits.
Narukami's rrat basically was just stoking the "assumptions" that JP viewers already had.
Number two, Cover doesn't have to restart businesss in China. They just need to show Chinese corps that the "problematic person" has been taken care of and Cover as a company respects China's rule over Taiwan, they'd get sponsor again.
Sponsors and future growth is more important than restarting HoloCN. Besides, restarting HoloCN will incur the wrath of western viewers, I doubt they would do that soon.
It's more like sponsorship with whatever Chinese companies, advertisements, merchandise, stuffs like that.

She use the word おこがましい . That's not a word you'd use for a "creative difference" purpose.
This is just my autistic rrat and it's a clip that perhaps has more context before it but Mio uses the word 引退 and not 卒業 when characterizing Coco's decision. Japanese, just in general, pick and choose their words very carefully and what words use (or not being used) when is a part of understanding Japanese language too.
Language comprehension is just half way there.
I'm trying to say there's no way it's just "creative difference". Even in Coco's own video I think she also said "there are dreams that will be left unfulfilled" or something like that. That's not a typical 卒業 speech. You express gratitudes on 卒業 speech, you don't put emphasis on the regrets of things you will forever not being able to do.
