Yes which is why they need to stop breaking kayfabe all the time. We know it's fake, they know it's fake, the service is the fantasy of whatever your character's gimmick is for a few hours a few times a week.
It gets so tiring and annoying when they constantly demand we treat them like entertainers, then start trying to "get real" with us for doing exactly that.

I wonder if you're even a victim of the flood of bad takes on the Fauna drama but you've become part of the perpetrators of that movement.
They've successfully convinced you how to feel about what was said and how you want to pursue escapism.
I don't think it's realistic to expect roleplaying can be done to the point where you can't tell the difference; when playing a game, are you going to interact with it as if everything were real? Think about it
