The market is forward looking and trying to best guess future value. So if a talent makes a big stink about merch cuts there is a chance Anykara will be forced to give in and offer more which would cut into profits.
Doesn't mean shit but that is my best speculation why the news would cause stocks to drop. It could also be the simple fact the whole market was down and Anykara was drug down. Marks are very irrational in the short term. I've seen good earnings statements cause a company to dump 10% because of something buried on page 95 that signaled future troubles.
So yes OP is a faggot but Zaion and Kson dunking on Nijisanji can effect the short term value but ehhh if the money keeps rolling in Anykara could literally be operating Vtuber sweatshops as long as no laws are broken it won't harm them.
