i think tempus 2 was a huge mistake too, not only because of what you mentioned but also due to 4 new members spreading the dedicated tempus viewerbase too thin. it also became a lot harder to keep up with everyone so i'm guessing many people are now dedicated to just 1-2 instead of all because they've realized it's impossible to catch up with everyone.

I think this is a very fair shake
I tried multiple times to watch Flayon play Idol Showdown, he has a better understanding of fighting games than the rest of holo production, but his voice is even worse than Kiara's and I couldn't last 5 minutes
All my interest died after the Vesper menhera arc, the constant YABBA DABBA DOO collabs, and the rushed VG arc
VSaikyo left a bad taste with Selen choking
Rust made me prefer VSPO/Gamma/Astel
The only thing left are occasional clips of their WoW streams

Seeing even the biggest Tempus defenders on twitter and reddit go "wait... why?" when Tempus 2 dropped sure was something.
I felt a little bad for Tempus 1 because it looked like they were hired to prove a point (and proved the opposite) but I felt really bad for Tempus 2 since literally no one wanted them.
We can only hope the person responsible for this disaster got fired, both HoloEN and StarsEN (now that it regretfully exists) deserve better than being political playing balls.

Nah I really liked Vesper, Magni and Axel for the first couple of months and they had a ton of cool streams and great unity vibes. The Vesper suspension + menhera arc really soured my moon on Tempus as a whole but they've also gone way down in quality in general, they've lost that post debut enthusiasm and their unity's completely gone at this point. The new half gen is also awful other than the clown who just kinda fills the same role as Magni so even he feels unnecessary. Tempus just feels like wasted potential, those first few months with frequent kino streams made me unironically believe they could do well in the long term but they just kinda fizzled out starting from Vesper's suspension IMO.

final nail for me was when magni killed their valheim collabs. too many fucking excuses from the faggot.
came back for the vsai arc but fucked off right after. was a fun month and only strengthened my belief that group collabs were their best content and only content for me.
i know they have a weekly wow content but i have no love for that game.
bettel might be still watchable as a solo streamer but his timeslot is awful for me, and i rather watch a LIVEstream. and i'd rather tune to ina if im around.

If you read between the lines and listen to the hints then it was almost certainly a blow up at management for not getting him XCOM permissions so he could do a promised 24 hour stream over thanksgiving. Holo makes a lot of good choices but Tempus 2 (let alone StarsEN in general) shows they didn’t learn as to why a lot of Nijis hang in 2-3view hell: there’s so much competition from within their own company (branch in ENs case in particular). What made Council (sort of) stick the landing is that we had a year to get attsched to Myth, just enough time to decide to shake things up. Tempus 2 was a 6 month difference, for the people that actually watched Tempus 1, it wasn’t enough time to make a connection before moving onto something new.
