It's clear that EN/JP communities are more developed and have easier access to all kinds of guides and tech, so layman would consider RU sphere to be inferior in terms of both technology and creativity.
However it doesn't mean that talents should just stop trying or viewers should stop watching them.
If we consider average stream viewers, they don't unsub from someone they watch on the regular because they made some cringy or tone-deaf joke, so if they can overlook that, what makes it so different from a tone-deaf joke on a stream from someone that they don't know about?
It's kind of a preconceived bias that gets formed thanks to loud minority of viewers who prefer to always compare indies or small companies to bigger ones and hold them to a much greater standard regardless of capabilities from the former.
There is a shitload of absolute trash content creators, this thread being a glowing testament to that, but that's true for any medium, excluding someone based on anything but your preferences is just a sign of being bitter or easily swayed by the opinion of a minority.
Giving people a chance will eventually lead both the viewers to finding content that they enjoy consuming and the talents to the audience that appreciates their work.
And she also said that while passion and dedication are great, you gotta fucking ADVERTISE and MARKET yourself. By spending real money. On real ads. In circles that are aligned with the content that you're delivering.
Not sit on your ass for years with sub-10 viewers and wallowing in your delicious self-pity.
