the VA for the vtubers can "reincarnate" if they want to because they did all they could as that character and want to voice a new one.
i don't get mad if my favorite vtuber graduates because i enjoyed my limited time watching her.

I don't know specifics but presumably all corpo's have it in their contracts that publicly acknowledging you are/were the performer behind [X] IP they own is grounds for being sued into oblivion. Allowing your chat to do it free-reign would presumably count.

Because the character and name Pikamee is owned by VOMS. Vtubers are VAs playing Live2D anime characters so when they switch companies or go freelance, they need to switch characters.

Yes because that would pretty much be pan handling. Low indie trash that would never make it on their own gets picked up and gains a loyal following. They leave take a quarter of their totally not obsessed fans and bring them with them. The other 20-25% aren’t faggots that look into their background so for them they actually think she’s gone. Saying i was so and so would be begging them to come back which would be soliciting them. Most corpos probably have a non solicitation clause with the NDA
