The difference is there was absolutely no malice behind what Ame and Kronii said. I know it's sometimes hard for people here to understand but the reality is those 2 girls are not like us, they're normalfags (especially Kronii), and normalfags don't really comprehend how non-normalfags think. That's how they can say things that sound insulting here, but all they think when people freak out is "what, what did I say?!?!"
That being said, people completely overreacted to Ame because it is so easy to twist it into "be the better person you know you can be, for me!", but no one did
