I don't care if it's the same person. The content is just not the same anymore. You wouldn't simply watch a TV show if it completely changed to something else even if the actors were the same, would you? Why are you expecting me to do the same thing for some internet person? Why are you expecting me to unconditionally support this person who I've never met except online and who hardly even knows me? Sure, I liked the person, but this isn't a marriage. I can like and support any content creator I choose. And I liked the person not in the same way that I'd like friends or family, more like how I'd like a writer or artist. I don't have to like the new content just because I liked the old content. If I don't like it, I'll just find someone else to watch and support. It's that simple. It's not a matter of brands versus talents. It's just a matter of my personal preferences for entertainment.
