So I'm relatively new here (been here since ~end of 2022) and since a kind anon compiled together the list of all previous miComet threads, I've started going through them to catch up on the history. So far I've gone up to Jan. 2022.
>PekoMiko Christmas arc
It was pretty fun to see the immense hype for Christmas to see if PekoMiko would reunite. There was so much speculation trying to piece together the timeline for the end of PekoMiko.
>Schizos
On the other hand, there was so much schizo posting surrounding PekoMiko, posts pushing for every other possible pairing besides miComet (Sui x Roberu, MikKorone, Hoshi no Kanata, Sui x Coco??, Sui x Toko, ...), insane DV posting and horny posting, literal shitposting, and so forth. I'm very happy that the miComet board is more calm nowadays, I vibe with the wholesome atmosphere with only occasional schizos.

was a ride due to the PekoMiko anticipation, miComet werewolf teetee, then the crushing disappointment of both PekoMiko and miComet fans to find out that they didn't spend Christmas together, only to later find out that Miko did end up sneaking over to Suisei's party and taking home all the carbonara. It was a miComet victory and in hindsight, despite how teetee they were already back then, it's amazing to see how far they've come since. There were some posts which were called out as being unmedicated, but which turned out to be downright prophetic.
>Miko more assured in her relationship?
To me it seems like Miko was totally in obsessive crush mode in 2021, but now she seems a lot more assured and comfortable with her relationship with Suisei, and I think that's also a nice thing to see. Back then miComet was live or die based on individual moments: as soon as there was even a tiny drought, there was immediate concerns (probably from schizos but still). But today, even if there's a drought, we know they deeply care for each other, even if they don't always show us.
