>>49559205Shareholders would only ignore bad PR if they thought it was something that wouldn't impact the company's bottom line(a nothingburger), or they had reason to believe the company was about to do something that would cause their valuation to shoot back up. Taking a little loss to make larger gains soon after.
In this instance I would say the latter does not apply. As far as I am aware, there is no huge project Anycolor is working on that is about to blow everyone's minds. So it just depends on whether the shareholders think it will cost them money. Personally I feel the clear incompetence from management combined with noticeably dwindling numbers is enough to think twice, but everyone has to decide that for themselves. And of course deciding to pull out of a company doesn't mean it is dogshit garbage that is doomed to failure, either. It simply means that they believe it is more profitable to invest elsewhere.
>>49560725It's not good news for Anycolor when their valuation goes down. And generally when a company starts hurting, it's the little guys that suffer the most. So it probably isn't great news for the livers either. I would expect more pressure on them behind the scenes to get their numbers up. Course Anycolor doesn't really cut costs from laying off workers, as most industries would. Since livers aren't paid a fixed salary in the first place, and the costs to keep each one around is entirely covered by the money they personally bring into the company. Whether it will lead to more acceleration(workers are effectively pure profit for the company so this is likely) or laying off non-existent managers is anyone's guess. I don't think it will cause deceleration because buying models is the only real cost here, and even if the liver ends up flopping they should make that money back within a few weeks at the very most. That said, the only thing certain in life is that the suits will remain rich.
