I think the player is bad, don't even know if you can filter the Twitch VODs to search for shit. It's annoying how clips and VODs and everything are just in one tab and you need to use the drop down element to display VODs only.

Thanks for the info, it was just a different thing than with Kson, being over a year later. I don’t know if returning this quickly was the best strategic move, sure she wants to start streaming as soon as possible but this makes it look like she wanted her fans to be sad to get a ton of supas at her graduation stream and then again a lot of donations when everyone is happy that she returns, because it’s so quickly in succession. I’m sorry I know this sounds like some schizo tranny rrat but I have to be honest and it does look like this to me. That’s why I asked how much or if she communicated it because if she did it’s not her fault for people getting so emotional over her graduation even though they know she’ll return and them spending all that money.

A lot of people got emotional over her graduation because a lot of people in the last months of her existence as Pikamee were tourists, point blank. They assumed she was "bullied out of streaming" in general, when she gave about as many hints as she possibly could that she was going to be back fairly soon.

I mean I think part of the problem is the (possibly legally enforced) tradition of not acknowledging the VA behind the characters for kayfabe or whatever. I think if she could have just outright said "Oh I'll be joining Vshojo next month" she would have.

I got emotional about Pikamee's last weeks because is sucks to be harassed so simply trying to do what you love to do. It didn't make her retire, but it did negatively effect her for weeks. Her graduation is also sad that the old models are gone forever and the prospect of Henya collabing with VOMs members in the future is unknown. It was clear she was coming back at some point by the end, but she still had the second the last month of her time as Pikamee ruined by scum.

Sure it's sad, but the question was whether or not Pika herself was being manipulative by farming sympathy. And the reality was she wasn't; the harassment caused her to cancel a stream and was a stain on the last time she had as Pikamee, but a lot of tourists projected onto that and assumed it meant she was gone forever because of the harassment, when she all but outright said she'd be back, and it was pretty clear the harassment wasn't the cause of the move.

I'm starting to worry that I am getting too attached to Henya. Hearing her voice always cheered me up, but now I'm starting to fret about her health, and seeing her happy makes me happy. Like a weird, fundamental happiness. I never cared much for singing or 3d concerts, but I find myself feeling like I'll watch one with henya in it just because I want to see her being happy. To me personally it's fine to feel like you do in some regards, hoping she is doing well and healthy, finding joy in her content and supporting her in her endeavours. i prefer twitch because I find some chat spams funny or endearing and generally prefer the chat culture. I don't always look at chat, though. That being said, Youtube video player is way better. It lags way less for me and it also has video playback in case i miss something or want to replay something that just happened.

I'd prefer if henya stays on twitch, i just wish twitch would improve their player

I consider youtube completely unusable for watching streams, everything about its UI and chat is awful. The only thing that's better on youtube compared to twitch is being able to rewind the current stream (without going to the VOD page) and their UI for making clips, but those are minor inconveniences.

That being said, the fact that I live in a shithole so poor no one serves ads to it, probably helps. Though I'd still probably rather suffer 5 minutes of ads per hour than deal with youtube.

Is there a way to block these cancerous preroll ads? I want to watch her but I'm not going to sit through 30/60 seconds of ads before the stream even opens. Also I did install an adblocker but I just get this dogshit 360p screen until the preroll ad ends. Also every time ads are supposed to play the stream drops down to 480p while the ads are playing. There's no fucking way I'm using this shitty website if there isn't a way around it.
