Analyzing bad chess is way more fun than looking at super GM bullshit. I literally don't care about watching two dudes playing top engine moves and theory for 30 moves straight.
I literally don't care about a 2800 ELO GM playing H4 H5 to wait, because the engine does that, even though it's likely the best move or that same GM blundering because he couldn't remember his preparation or he prepares a position, reaches it and realizes "oh shit this isn't as I thought it was".
Chess at a high level died like 20 years ago, when Kramnik won the world championship and then it died again when Alpha Zero served Stockfish in 2016.
I like watching and analyzing bad chess. Bad chess is so much more fun than good chess these days. And that's the same reason why something like pogchamps is actually popular, it's not just that it's famous personalities playing, but that it's chess at a decently low level, so there just is no prep and no database and no "I memorized the 30 moves I need against this player to get to the position I want".
HoloChess is the pinnacle of "bad chess" entertainment.
