Part of the reason I'm so angry at America's government is because every day we mirror China's government more and more, only using the private sector as a proxy. I don't want to live in a world where my participation or lack of participation on someplace like Reddit, Twitter, or Linkedin reflects who people think I am. Or a world where anyone reporting wrongthink can be disappeared in the push of a button.
Chinks and Changs, however; particularly the nationalist ones, DO want that kind of world. They think it's good, because it's not them it's happening to. China is basically the twitter lynch mob mentality turned up to 11 because it's been happening there longer and it's actively encouraged by the government.
