This is made out of 北 (north) and 月 (moon).
How does 'north' over 'moon' translate to 'back'?
If I look up the first result, they claim that 北 looks like two people with their backs to each other. But that isn't taught to any modern learners since it means, well, north. And it doesn't explain the random moon.
