Hololive caps at around 40k, their floor is around 2k.
New talents usually debut at around 10k.
From there it's up to them to rise or sink.
HoloEN debuted with 20k-30k and has steadily gone down.
The last girl to consistently get 20k-30k was Gura before her long term hiatus.
Most have an average of 3k
Any Hololive going below 3k is scrapping the floor of what that company has.
You could grab any vtuber, any out of thousands of indies and put her in Hololive and she will debut with at least 10k. Even if she used to be at 100 before.
That's because Hololive has a huge brand, a huge audience and a lot of reach.
Many will check them out and stick around, many do not leave the Hololive ecosystem at all.
These are small corpo numbers:
100 is the floor for most and it's the average for some. It's what you can consider a bare minimum if your small corpo is actually making it.
200 is pretty good, it means a vtuber has managed to grow a decent audience by small corpo standards.
300 is excellent, very few small corpo talents reach this tier.
The main talents of some small corpo are here, meanwhile on Phase Connect and idol 300 is close to an average now.
This means that for those companies 100 is actually low, it means a talent is lagging behind others by 3 times.
400 is generally within reach for a 300.
500 is another milestone, very few small corpos reach this level and it puts them on the top of the small corpo food chain generally, beyond 500 lies a completely new tier for small corpos that have made it "big".
Notice how it's still barely 1/6 of what an underperforming Hololive gets.
1k is basically outside the norm for a small corpo, it normally does not happen.
Only 2 members of Phase Connect sometimes get there, and Pippa and Rin from idol are above it.
At this point a small corpo is so far ahead from the small corpo standards that it really is worth bragging because it means that specific vtuber has gone far beyond the value of a small corpo, she has outgrown its brand name and her audience is bigger than the rest of the entire small corpo combined.
I don't recall Rin's latest CCV averages but I think she was around 1500-2000 last time, still below an average Hololive, comparable to a mid level NijiEN, but so many times bigger than any small corpo.
And then there's Pippa who breaks all limits and rises far above any small corpo all by herself.
So yeah it's a big achievement when the average for a small corpo is barely 10% of what she has.
Now let's compare that to HoloEN.
If the "ok and barely going" 100 equivalent of small corpo is 3k for Hololive, then 10k is the "actually doing well " equivalent of 300.
Pippa is doing 10 times that.
That's as if a member of HoloEN was pulling 100k
This is what Salome was pulling on JP during her debut honeymoon phase and people accused her of bots but it was never proven. Compare that to an average Niji debut, she mogged them all, she was bigger than Nijisanji's brand itself. That's Pippa for small corpo.
She's the greatest underdog story in the history of vtubing.
