Does the possibility that this board actually has an impact on the vtuber world ever worry you guys?
I just mean it in the sense that this board easily has the most containment breachers on the entire site. I can make a post here, and it'll get posted on @vt_takes on Twitter, and because James or whoever else running it wants to make it a funny post that gets lots of likes he excludes the rebuttals and just presents the post as is, as "fact". So a bunch of Twitter trannies will see a post made here, they'll take it as the popular 4chan opinion, and they'll repeat it so they can be one of the cool kids. This isn't a hypothetical either, this has happened to many a post made here. As a result of this spread, many narratives and edited videos from here are also uploaded to YouTube such as the whole "Aria is Haachama" and "Ollie got fingered" memes, and people take those videos as fact too, with them getting thousands of views - which doesn't seem like a lot, but it's certainly something. There's also the very obvious Reddit infestation plaguing this board. Whenever a Ledditor gets sick of their corporate run forum, they come here to complain, and they bring back le funny 4chan memes and narratives with them. There's also the fact that we know several HoloID talents to have browsed this board in the past (no this isn't a narrative, archive reps) and 2 of them have taken the words said here to heart for better or worse. This sort of influence seems to spread only by the day as well - before, when Mori made what /hlgg/ saw as a transgression against Amelia, forgetting her birthday, her stream afterwards only got around 80 dislikes or so. Her latest transgression to have impacted a stream, collabing with Gigguk in Shadowverse, was able to net 1000 dislikes. Quite the step up.
tl;dr /vt/ itself can't effect vtubers, but containment breachers spreading /vt/ faggotry can. Does this worry you guys at all?
