For indies or small agencies, sure, but Cover more than likely pays them a salary on top of that and other factors. Lets say you want to be a faggot and give your money to your oshi, Coco. First YouTube takes 30% of your simp money, then Cover takes about 35% after that cut (iirc), and whatever is left goes to the Coco.

I'll use $100 USD for easy to swallow numbers.
After YT takes their 30% cut of the SC, we're left with $70.00 (30% off of $100, duh).
Now Cover comes in for their 35% share of the simp money. 70 x 35/100 = 24.5.
For every $100, the Coco would only get $24.50. I don't know about JP tax laws so the actual amount is probably even lower after that.
It's well known the best way to support your favorite VTuber is to buy merch/VPs since YT doesn't suck 30% of it. I've seen massive merch shrines by idol fags (honestly disturbing) because they know their oshi will get more of their money that way. On top of the money from the merch, Cover most likely gives Coco a salary, and then you have sponsors and shit for more money. Superchatting is literally just throwing almost all of your money away.
