Seriously how does Hololive scam the Youtube algorithm?
I used to follow Azki years ago before she was """"officialized"""", she used to be Roboco-tier, I was frustrated because I thought she was impossible to save, her streams were 1-2k, her anniversaries were sub 20k, but since April 2022 when Cover took "ownership" of her character her numbers "suddenly" blew to the stratosphere.
I refuse to believe this is organic growth since this was barely a year ago, nothing about her channel changed, not even how often she streams.
If there's a vtuber that's proof Hololive exploits the algorithm, that's Azki.

Anon, it's because she was the one holo that rarely played games. Let alone super buff games. That's what gets you new viewers (including EOP viewers). Her recent geoguessr streams and minecraft streams got her a shitload of new viewers.
Also I know she did play minecraft a few times years ago, but her PC ran the game at 2 fps and those streams were incredibly rare.

Vspo started resorting to the same tactics today and it's really obvious while hololive gradually ramped the bot use up during the pandemic.

She got the number god usada pekoras grace not even kidding at some point nousagis started to funnel to azki because because pekora mentioned liking her once, the timing also matched as most of azkis stremes where schedule right after pekoras ends then she has the geoguesser arc which completely integrated her into the holobox she went from a mid tier 4 view to a permanent 5 view in a few months.

All Hololive fans want is for them to start talking with each other and act the part. Towa literally gets 2-3k streams when she out collab with literal whos and no one blinks. Luna was also a 2k shitter when I started watching and now she gets 5k minimum ever since she started the Choco Shuba(sometimes Botan) arc.

Roboco is doing fine although she is a shitter in CCV it dosent really matter in holo since the others are pulling even the dead weight, and roboco is far from being a completely meaningless talent.

Yeah, I mean it's pretty simple. Hololive in general went through the Geoguessr arc, and AZKi was weirdly, obscenely good at it, which brought her a lot of attention and raised her profile. Now that she's a normal Hololive member instead of being in her own segregated box, and actually streams games more often, she was able to carry the Geoguessr momentum and build on it.

This is the power of a good design mostly, for years she barely streamed and when she did she used to get 3k tops, but after getting that godlike design all Azki needed was an initial push and some momentum and then ride the wave because her personality is already great.

TL;DR: Great redesign came at the right time with her geoguesser gimmick, then cover gave her more momentum with collabs.
