Painful situation, Mori was almost right to bully her to present a united front but is still ultimately wrong to turn away from JP ways and toward lefting cajoling to turn into yet-more-whores who will instantly lose distinctness and cease to be a viable product in an absolute sea of other western whores. The sad part is Gura is right and carrying the true cross by herself, if holo turns hoe it has nothing over actual hoes.

Gura had more subs than the top of Holo before applying. Restarting at 0 and still was the first Holo to reach 1 million. Three years later and still has sustained a huge following without streaming. Gura is no fad.
Just as her fans followed her into Hololive, they will follow her when she leaves. She has proven many times already by starting from scratch to build a huge following. Many have tried copying her and failed. Who will be the next Gura Killer?

Retardchama it's not like Cover picked Gura randomly from the streets. Her becoming Gura in the first place was of her own achievement. Sure it came with buffs, but those buffs were well deserved as she was the best pick for the job out of everyone who applied. Like that other anon said is not like she was not popular to begin with, Cover saw the potential and gave her the ticket, that was her own achievement and it was the next step in her already successful career.

Gura would have been massively popular whether she joined Hololive or not anon. She was already popular, after the Vtuber hype if she wanted she could have become easily the top indie vtuber with just a bit of effort, she already had a massive headstart.
