Twitch playing 5 30-sec unskippable ads that can't even be blocked by adblock or ublock is a large complaint amongst all twitch streamers. Imagine clicking on someone and before even watching them you are spammed with ads, I would turn that shit off fast.
Also Twitch switching from 70/30 split to 50/50 split was major news also. Their defense for giving the streamers less money is telling streamers to play more ads on stream, which streamers don't want to do because on top of the pre-stream ads they have to play more ads in their streams to make up for loss profit.
No one has left because converting twitch to youtube audience is incredibly hard. You are basically starting from zero. Even if you did choose to leave, twitch audiences tend to watch twitch streamers so unless all of those twitch streamers they watch migrate to youtube you'd be the only one they choose not to watch. The ones that did leave like Ludwig already has a significant youtube following and having a contract with YouTube Gaming gets you boosted in the algorithm.
