Personally, I'm not a fan of the word because I don't enjoy putting people down for things they can't control. Also 'stupid' or 'moronic' are such an easy stand ins, so it seems pointless to cause inadvertent sadness by using it. I feel like it could potentially reinforce insecurity within people who are already born with a ton of challenges in their lives, which I don't want to do. Especially young people.
Though I'd never condone anyone trying to police anyone else using it by doxxing or harassing, because you're not inherently a worse person for using those words, you likely just disagree with my reasoning or that the words could create the harm that I think they could. That said, I think most of you are just young and haven't actually considered these things or your own personal responsibility towards language.
