Governments naturally love tyranny, because making unilateral sweeping decisions is easier than going through a slow democratic process and actually consulting the will of the people.
There are three branches of US government, who all are designed to serve as check and bakances against each other. Legislative, executive, and judiciary.
The Legislative brach consists of the Senate and House of Representatives. Bills have to be passed through both to become United States law. Both the Senate and the House consist of eoected representatives based on geographic distributions. Each state gets two senators, and a variable number of reprrsentatives based on the state's population. These form the will of the people.
The judiciary are the judges. There are various levels of courts across counties, states, and multi-state areas. The highest court is the Supreme Court which is Federal (Federal means it applies to the entire country of America).
The Executive branch are the enforcers. They exist to be powerful and unilateral. The president is the highest office of the Executive branch, and he can appoint people to serve under him as advisors. Also within the executive branch are various agencies. The FBI, NSA, ATF, CIA, DHS, DEA, EPA, TSA etc. (now you might be able to see the "alphabet" in "alphabet agencies")
>FBI: These are the Federal cops. They get pulled in by the local police department at the slightest hint of danger.>NSA: These guys spy on the phone and internet and tip off other alphabet organizations to (((dangerous))) individuals.>ATF: These guys murder American citizens and take your guns away.>CIA: These guys are meant to spy on other countries, friends and foe alike, but really they just spy on the American people and do fucked up social experiments because they have basically nobody checking in to make sure what they're doing is clean.>DEA: These guys bust drugrunners.>DHS: These guys force covid jabs in your arm and force you into a quarantine with a bunch of sick patients to starve and die.>EPA: These steal your land and tax you for watering your garden, or having a slightly too powerful showerhead.>TSA: These guys molest you at airports and steal valuable goods out of your luggage.Hope this clears some things up
