I've always hated seeing people on this board call my oshi a retard, and the worst thing is they're not even doing it to be insulting, they genuinely see it as a term of endearment. It feels like people like that can only enjoy a vtuber if they see her as intellectually inferior. I don't like that, I'm always willing to give people a fair shake and just because they may not be that smart in one aspect, they can still be very smart in others.
So yeah, I look forward to when we eventually reach the point where this board is the only place where people feel "safe" using the word retard, and will be spurned by the rest of the internet for doing so. That's how it should be. I can't control what you do here, but if I can control what you do elsewhere and make you feel like you have no other options, that's good enough for me.
