The Amanda you see in the VHS is a perfect AI recreation of the real "Amanda" actor, except with the demon rituals embedded into the AI of the cartoon Amanda.
In the show's heyday, the AImanda would kidnap children to be used as sacrifices for these demons by luring them away from their homes, which is part of the plan made by the scientists and why the company is called "Hameln", and why Amanda looks like Mickey Mouse.
