Otsonny!! Goddamn, at last, jump king has finally been dethroned as the longest stream on sonny's channel. Congrats to episode six of botw for beating it out by ~6 minutes! It was a fun stream! We started off in the gerudo valley, trekking in the sand until he hit the edge of the map and got his ass beat by bokoblins in the middle of nowhere. I should mention his tendency to forget to save will come back to bite him a lot this time. Once he finally decided to take on the quest to obtain the sand boots he'd venture into the snowy highlands to find the eighth heroine, though would get uh, pretty distracted on the summit. The infatuation with the dragon was cute but the lynel he encountered was a challenge and would be one of many ambitious endeavors he took on today. Definitely more difficult than the first lynel he took on, even if he has more experience and better gear now. ...Especially now that he's sworn off bows and chose not to cook food. It was a pretty fun fight though, watching him get better at parrying those ground pounds it loves to spam, chipping away at it's health without the ability to properly stun it until he finally got that lucky run after 40mins of getting one-shotted in dumb ways. You gotta have patience to watch sonny sometimes, but man the payoff feels great. After grabbing his pic of the statue and making us watch ice melt for 20min he finally went back and got his snow boots. Shoulda washed those before wearing them. Next few hours was more dawdling, he really likes fighting talus' and we also got plenty more time to appreciate hinox ass. Thanks sonny! The enemies throughout the world have quickly become more difficult as he progresses which does mean it usually takes a bit longer to take out camps. It only took him... 8 hours to get to rito village, he certainly wasn't pressed for time! Once we arrive he decided to further murder architect dreams by eating only leftover onigiri and some shapes as his main on-stream meal. Sonny stop, this is just overkill now. Rito village is one of my favorite locations in the game so it's good to see him finally discovering the place, he got new drip and cooked some pies and cakes with the recipes he found. Adding a rare timestamp because his little yell with his mouth full and the way he threw down his plate when he saw the blood moon was so fucking goofy:
>https://youtu.be/JT8eUOQPVXk?t=30857He also really liked Kaneli, I reckon it's a good thing he enjoys doing old man voices as much as I enjoy listening to them. Finally we got to follow teba to the flight range, who's a bit more likeable than our man Ravioli. Hey wait... obnoxious, conceited, pretty good at what he does, good-hearted despite his arrogance, dies in a stupid way... Revali reminds me of a certain yellow guy at times. Unfortunately, sonny was forced to bend the knee and use arrows, though if he could have gotten away with not using them in the flight range I'm sure he would have. In fact, right afterwards when teba took him up to the big bird, he stopped using the bomb arrows as soon as he figured out you actually could melee the cannons on it. Sasuga...Vah medoh is pretty quick and easy as far as the beasts go, not the worst to save for last. Although after the fact, when sonny figured out what revali's gale did, he lamented how he wished he had done it earlier in the game. I TOLD YOU DOG! Funnily enough, windblight took about as long as the rest of the dungeon, I wondered if he'd get fed up with it and just give in and use a bow, but with some patience he managed to eventually get it in one try. I swear you could parry the lasers. At last, all four divine beasts have been conquered! With his last remaining hour or so he once more failed to acquire the master sword (lol) and decided to do the molduga quest he got in gerudo town. Holy shit, i love sonny but he's damn retarded sometimes. I genuinely never expected that the compendium and photography would become such a big part of his run. He spent so damn long getting the perfect shot of that ugly bastard that spends 90% of its time underground, and when he did get it, he got sniped by a lizard and didn't save and had to do it all over again. Great way to stall for time at least! He got his picture and the sand fish remains and was finally able to complete the quest with minutes to spare. Now all that awaits is Ganon, looming in that castle in the center of the map... I'm not 100% sure what his gameplan is, aside from the fact he'll definitely beat the game this coming week. How much time is he gonna spend putting off the boss? What about the DLC? He never really gave a concrete answer. All I know is that our exploration isn't over yet, he hasn't even gotten all the towers. Regardless, I look forward to even more shrines, yahaha hunting, and talus fights. His autism in this game is really something else. Thanks for an exceptional stream sonny, can't wait to see what next week brings. Sleep well and see you soon! o7
