Both kana alphabets are a syllabary with a one to one correspondence with Latin script equivalents.
All you have to do is to memorize your “sa shi su se so, ta tchi tsu te to” and be done in one week, tops.

It single handedly halved the viewcounts of many people who streamed it on Twitch, both flesh streamers and vtubers alike. Both Ironmouse and Henya streamed it for quite awhile, but have already dropped it at this point. Vei dropped below 4k when she played it at one point, and Nyanners just played it off stream with her boyfriend out right saying it wasn't a good game to stream.

Monolingualism doesn't matter if the only language spoken is actually important and is widely used everywhere on earth that matters and in every pursuit that matters. Junglejungle speak like bahasa etc., provide nothing to someone who can already speak English. Maybe I am wrong, but isn't this kind of game immensely boring to watch? No real challenge, very light narrative and a gameplay loop entirely centered around getting better stuff to kill harder foes to get better stuff doesn't sound like stream material.
