The comedian streams and the idol song stuff are good, but it's missing some sort of 'anime' component.

Do you think it's just going to be years more of the above?

I think maybe it's missing 'story'.

You have all the components of a narrative. A character, music, humour, lore, side characters interacting, but there's no story.

It sounds fucking retarded to say, "Where is the story in these YouTube streams?", but maybe that's the missing component.

It's been said many times before but a corpo that's run like a wrestling fed needs to happen. Rivalries, storylines, kayfabe, it's what the industry needs. On the surface it should be e-sports focused, holding regular competitions in games and have trophies that change hands. The biggest problem would be talents that can actually act and follow a script.

You need a balance between the two if it were to happen, there's a cringeworthy element to it.
I don't know how well the format works alongside 3 hour streams which are improvised.

Mostly normal streams, probably 1-2 hours tops 3ish times a week. Every now and then there would be company run collabs like mario cart tourneys, apex competitions etc. Winners get bragging rights and maybe something extra

Possible, one thing they could do is let talents keep past personas and have it as a "starring roommate as" type of deal. They would be the first vtuber corpo to do such a thing and it might help people realise it's all fun and games

Unironically it's litteraly what DreamSMP was all about and it was fucking hype, some streamer i didn't liked like Ponz or Ranboo became really good overtime the more i watched their POV (because you need to watch everyone to have the full story and it was smart)
